Arctic Monkeys

2 phenomenal debut albums (along with their singles and b-sides): powerful, fast, vibrant sound. Then, from Humbug to the latest Suck It And See, emptiness. Evolving, yes, but they've become another band, completely forgetting their beginnings. They now play another kind of music, and not even that original, in my opinion. And, by the way, no one has managed to sound like the old Arctic yet, despite the myriad of bands trying to imitate them.

Arctic Monkeys

Arctic Monkeys are an English rock band formed in Sheffield (2002). They rose to prominence with their 2006 debut Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not and have released several stylistically varied albums including Favourite Worst Nightmare, Humbug, Suck It and See, AM, Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino and The Car.
