an original director. Lost in Translation is her peak. However, I believe she has yet to create the work for which she will be remembered. As of now, to me, she remains the daughter of Michele Corleone. Still, well done.

Sofia Coppola

Sofia Coppola is an American filmmaker known for intimate, atmospheric dramas. She debuted with The Virgin Suicides (1999) and achieved international acclaim with Lost in Translation (2003), winning the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. She won the Golden Lion at Venice for Somewhere (2010) and Best Director at Cannes for The Beguiled (2017).
