Lily Allen

It gives me the impression of a pseudo-alternative brat from a glossy magazine, and I would never buy one of her records, but actually, some of her songs are quite pleasant to listen to. Can she sing? Not really, her voice is nothing more than a fey mumble, though for certain things it works well, that's another story.

Lily Allen is an English singer-songwriter who rose to prominence via MySpace and released the debut album Alright, Still (2006). She is known for blending pop with reggae, ska, dub and hip hop influences and for the single "Smile".
