Klaus Nomi

Klaus Nomi (born Klaus Sperber) was a German countertenor and performance artist active in New York in the late 1970s and early 1980s. He released the self-titled album "Klaus Nomi" (1981), appeared with David Bowie on television, and died in 1983. He is known for blending operatic vocals with new wave and theatrical pop.
