As far as I'm concerned, the greatest songwriter of the last 20 years, whether we’re talking about Red House Painters or Sun Kil Moon. At least 4 masterpieces (the first three Red House Painters plus "April") interspersed with works that are always of great value. Go see him live if you get the chance; you won't easily forget it.
