Questionable style, not exactly an outstanding presence; overall, I doubt he's as brilliant as Alessio Vinci or Enrico Mentana. However, he's a historically measured presenter, moderate yet decisive, precise, unbiased, respectful, a gentleman. An immense body of written works, almost competing with Montanelli. For 20 years now, he has been hosting an almost irreplaceable news program, with generally well-balanced in-depth analyses. A piece of history, undoubtedly.
