Silvio Berlusconi

Never particularly loved. He had the great merit of preventing the Nation from being handed over to the pidiessini (communists and illiberals) in '94. It was the best thing he did. I also acknowledge his great merit in legitimizing and bringing the Right to power.

Silvio Berlusconi (29 September 1936 – 12 June 2023) was an Italian media proprietor and politician, founder of Forza Italia, and served as Prime Minister of Italy (1994–1995, 2001–2006, 2008–2011).
