The Norwegian wolves are that group that, when you hear them, just at the sound of a piano note and a sigh, makes the hair on your back stand up, even if the piece is anything but simple...and that's no small feat; they have the ability to evoke emotions with the abstruse, and this is a gift of the few!! Brilliant and wonderfully naïve!

Ulver is a Norwegian band formed in 1993, widely noted (in these reviews and beyond) for moving from early black metal and folk/acoustic music into electronics, ambient and other experimental directions. Kristoffer “Garm” Rygg is repeatedly cited as the central voice and identity across their transformations.
