Antonín Dvořák

Antonín Dvořák (1841–1904) was a Czech Romantic composer known for fusing Bohemian folk idioms with classical forms. From 1892 to 1895 he directed the National Conservatory of Music in New York, where he composed the Symphony No. 9 “From the New World.” His output spans symphonies, chamber music, concertos, choral works, and dances.
