Cosmic Jokers

They weren't joking at all. A great group, led by the genius of Schulze and Gottsching, churned out a series of 3-4 fabulous albums (out of 5 total), especially the first two, "Cosmic Jokers" and "Galactic Supermarket," which are truly exceptional.

Cosmic Jokers

A 1970s German krautrock collective organized by Rolf-Ulrich Kaiser that released albums compiled from improvised studio sessions by prominent krautrock musicians. Releases were controversial because some participants did not consent.
