Good group, there's no denying that. Morrison is largely a good singer and a skilled showman, but to call him a poet... It's not that long locks, a dark air, drug addiction, and screams make a poet: Leopardi, Eliot, Edgar Lee Masters looked like dying clerks. Yet they are poets, while Morrison is (was) an actor in love with himself.
