Slayer

"Reign in Blood" is perhaps essential even for those like me who don't listen to metal. Terribly expressive (especially the incredible drummer Dave Lombardo, who is also appreciated by John Zorn). Up until "South of Heaven," magnificent. The rating is for the overall career.

Slayer

Slayer was an American thrash metal band formed in 1981 in Huntington Park, California. They are widely regarded as pioneers of thrash and extreme metal and remained active until their final shows in 2019.
