With IRA, you're an idiot. The only certainty about Saddam is that he was an enemy of Islamic terrorists. He imposed secularism with an iron fist and the support of the same U.S. Even after falling out of favor after the first Gulf War, he never stopped repressing the Shiite ethnicity and Islamic fundamentalists. Saying that he supported terrorists is the most idiotic thing one could say about him.
