The five pieces "Cartoons," "The Piano Is Not My Strength," "Names and Surnames," "Naked," "Baccini A Colori" are more than enough to give an idea of what once was a great promise. Today he only sporadically writes great pieces, unfortunately. C'est la vie.

Francesco Baccini (born 4 October 1960, Genoa) is an Italian singer-songwriter known for witty, theatrical songwriting and later introspective turns. He debuted with Cartoons (1989), won the Targa Tenco (Opera Prima) for Il pianoforte non è il mio forte, and duetted with Fabrizio De André on Genova Blues.
