It doesn’t have a directing style that I enjoy. It doesn’t stimulate my interest; on the contrary, it does the exact opposite. I appreciated "Zelig" (really great, precisely because it’s completely different from the rest of his work) and "Commedia sexy..." which even managed to elicit a few smiles from me. The rest that I’ve seen... apathy, boredom, an urgent desire to turn it off. He’s in need of psychoanalysis, but he would even demolish the most stoic of psychoanalysts. Genius? Bah, de gustibus...
