Naive? Repetitive? Dark-ish? Certainly, the fact is that this man directed "Edward Scissorhands," one of the most exciting films I've ever seen, as well as conceived "The Nightmare Before Christmas," one of the highest peaks in the history of animation. I hope that indescribable crap "Alice in Wonderland" is just a sporadic blemish.
