Pleasant pop-rock duo active since the late '80s, "Joyride," "The Look," "Spending My Time," and "Sleeping In My Car" are their gems. Unfortunately, the malice of time and some terrible misfortunes have relegated them to a semi-oblivion; they should now be in the process of resurrection.

Roxette

Roxette were a Swedish pop-rock duo formed in 1986 by Per Gessle and Marie Fredriksson. They broke through internationally with The Look and followed with hits like Listen to Your Heart, It Must Have Been Love, and Joyride. After Fredriksson’s brain tumor diagnosis in 2002, the duo gradually returned to recording and touring, releasing late-career albums including Charm School (2011) and Good Karma (2016). Fredriksson died in 2019.
