In the Eighties, she and Madonna were portrayed as 'rivals'. If that's true, we might as well pit champagne against discount cola. Cyndi Lauper is an amazing artist, unfortunately not appreciated as she deserves in Italy, and Madonna should go to the Lauper house to do some cleaning.
