If it hadn't been so illiberal and especially socialist-anticapitalist, his government certainly wouldn't have been considered evil. Then came the war. If we analyze MUSSOLINI, and not the situations—distorted by the obscurantist and biased views from which the Partisan Constitution, pardon, Italian Constitution, emerged—we must duly acknowledge that he was one of the greatest Italian politicians of all time. One may disagree with his ideas. Period. But I evaluate him and Hitler as politicians.
