A great one, capable of combining great complexity with a certain accessibility, of course for the genre. It has had some low points, but minor compared to the masterpieces it has created as a solo artist, with PMG, and in collaboration with others.

Pat Metheny Group is an American jazz fusion ensemble formed in 1977 by guitarist Pat Metheny and keyboardist Lyle Mays. Celebrated for blending jazz with rock and global rhythms, the group’s acclaimed albums include Offramp, First Circle, Still Life (Talking), Travels, and The Way Up.
