Kurt Vonnegut

Kurt Vonnegut (1922–2007) was an American novelist and satirist. A WWII U.S. Army veteran captured at the Battle of the Bulge, he survived the 1945 bombing of Dresden as a POW. His fiction blends black humor, science fiction, and humanist critique; major works include Cat’s Cradle, Slaughterhouse-Five, and Breakfast of Champions.
