Japan like you’ve never seen it before. The very essence of screamo. Intense, passionate, cathartic, melancholic, desperate. Emotion in its purest form. And the detachment from passions typical of Japanese Buddhism, with this band, is thrown out the window. Fantastic.

Envy

Envy is a Japanese music group from Tokyo active since the early 1990s, known for fusing screamo/post-hardcore intensity with expansive post-rock dynamics and spoken/screamed vocals by Tetsuya Fukagawa.
