Sergio Leone

Perhaps one of the best Italian directors of all time, his westerns are the only films I truly (very much) appreciate in the genre, and Once Upon a Time in America (featuring an extraordinary Bob De Niro) is a beautiful film.

Sergio Leone

Sergio Leone (1929–1989) was an Italian film director who defined the Spaghetti Western with the Dollar Trilogy and expanded his scope with Once Upon a Time in the West and the crime epic Once Upon a Time in America.
