Dream Theater

"Images and Words" had left a great impression on me... but over time I realized that there is no more calligraphic and outdated band in all of metal. They believe they are making prog by recklessly using all the stereotypes of the genre, meaning tracks of at least half an hour, in odd time signatures, with inhuman solos and abundant "cultured" references in the lyrics. In reality, making progressive music means composing in an original and unheard-of way, and the Dream Theater simply do not know how to do that.
