Fred Frith

Fred Frith (born 1949, England) is a British guitarist, composer, and improviser. He co-founded the avant-garde group Henry Cow with Tim Hodgkinson and became a key figure in experimental rock and free improvisation. He has collaborated with Brian Eno, John Zorn (playing bass in Naked City), The Residents, and Robert Wyatt, and has an extensive solo and ensemble discography.
