Ian Anderson

wonderful rock genius, with the flute he was three spans above anyone else, he brought this instrument to the forefront of rock with the Tulls, giving life to memorable solos and albums that are timeless masterpieces. Exceptional, one of the greatest front-men of all time, much more than just a simple rock minstrel.

Ian Scott Anderson is a Scottish musician, singer and flautist, best known as the leader of Jethro Tull and for his distinctive one‑legged flute pose. Beyond Tull, his solo albums span electronics (Walk Into Light), orchestral/classical crossover (Divinities), and narrative prog (Thick As A Brick 2, Homo Erraticus).
