Tom Waits

Singer-songwriter among the greatest of all time, exceptional author of countless extraordinary songs and numerous masterpiece albums, remarkable musician, his lyrics are enormous. His rough and terrifying voice is, for me, one of the most beautiful of all time. Excellent in the '70s ("Small Change" and "Blue Valentine" the undisputed masterpieces of the era), gigantic in the '80s, exceptional in both the '90s and the '00s. Even today, in 2011, he has delivered yet another great album. Chapeau.
