Rick Wakeman

An excellent keyboardist both in the progressive scene and as a session musician (Bowie, Elton John), truly remarkable on albums like "Close to the Edge" or "Fragile". It's a shame about a rather lackluster solo career filled with excessively gaudy and pompous episodes beyond belief.
