Syd Barrett

Shine on, crazy diamond. A genius, the lord of psychedelia, unfortunately, his desire to go beyond the normal conception of music, his urge to experiment, took him away from the scene too soon (he had already left 38 years before he died). The Floyd were great even without him, but Barrett remains a myth, who managed to give so much in such a short time.

Syd Barrett

Syd Barrett (Roger Keith Barrett) was an English singer-songwriter and guitarist, best known as a founding member and early creative force of Pink Floyd. After leaving the band amid worsening mental health, he released two solo albums in 1970 (“The Madcap Laughs” and “Barrett”) and later became the subject of extensive posthumous/archival releases.
