Carlo Verdone

After "Cursed be the day I met you," he could have easily turned to horse racing because he had definitively run out of ideas and inspiration. Before that, he was quite enjoyable, at least 5 films that are gems of bittersweet comedy (with "School Friends" as the peak). And in the sketches from the late '70s and '80s, he was very funny.
