Dario Argento

If I voted only up to 1980, the score would be 5, but it's been 25 years now that he’s been serving up one worse film than the other, and lately, he's reached terrifyingly low levels. In the past, he was one of the masters of Italian Horror. I give a score of 4 for the period '69-'74, 5 from '75 to '80, 3.5-4 from '82 to '87, 1.5 for the '90s, and an absolute 0 from '00 onward. In the end, let’s say he deserves a three, for the great films made in the past.
