For a decade, from 1964 to 1974, perfect. Authors of at least 5 absolute masterpieces (4 even in a row) but generally only good albums for them in that first decade. Then the decline, and now it's been 35 years that they've been wallowing in shit and ridicule. Yet they remain among the greatest of all time, because when you line up albums like "Beggar's Banquet," "Let it Bleed," "Sticky Fingers," and "Exile on Main Street," you end up among "the gods" and you don’t move from there.
