A multifaceted, histrionic, and unconventional artist in the early years of his career. Rhetorical, prophetic, obsessively melodramatic, self-citing, and self-referential later on… A shaky career: beautiful and lived the first 5-6 albums, pompous and utterly rhetorical those from the '80s, culminating in the absolute unlistenability of Ratzingerian drivel like the penultimate IL DONO… and yet sometimes, even today, he manages to surprise: L'ORMONAUTA, NON SMETTEREI PIU', taken from the recent PRESENTE.
