DJ Shadow (Joshua Paul Davis) is an American DJ/producer known for pioneering sample-based, instrumental hip hop. His debut Endtroducing..... (1996, Mo’ Wax) earned widespread acclaim for its all-sample construction and crate-digging ethos.
