Sid Vicious

He never played two notes, he didn't even know how to hold a bass in his hands, he couldn't sing, he didn't have an ounce of brains; for some, a genius, but maybe they should read the definition of genius. For others, like me, a great pain in the ass... utterly useless. Madness and insanity fall within the definition of genius, but his was completely self-serving, a total fool!

John Simon Ritchie (1957–1979), known as Sid Vicious, was an English punk rock musician best known as the bassist of the Sex Pistols and for his association with Nancy Spungen.
