One day I meet Silvio and he says to me: "I'm going to save the homeland!" damn it, I'm coming too, I ran home to grab my suitcase, the toiletries, and so on, and went to the station to wait for the train, a train full of young people heading towards death... what a nice trip! We're all at the station waiting for the train, damn it, the train really arrives!

Renato Pozzetto

Renato Pozzetto (born July 14, 1940) is an Italian actor, comedian, cabaret artist, singer, screenwriter and director. Rising from Milan’s cabaret scene with Cochi Ponzoni as Cochi & Renato, he moved to TV and cinema, starring in numerous comedies and directing several films. He also published the autobiography “Ne uccide più la gola che la sciarpa.”
