The track "Until the end" brings to mind the best Seb Bach, enriched by a sexual and hypnotic assortment. The guitars soften and sparkle in the following "Rollercoaster ride", which gives the album its title, sounding like a reminder of youthful indiscretions made of brawls, sex, and Rock'n'roll.
The mood of this work exudes 80s vibes, sequins, the wiggling dolls of Sunset Boulevard, and electric guitars of an amorous nature! The melody of "Years gone by" is intense and mature, at times heart-wrenching, crossing the heart with a spectacular refrain!
Teets' guitars are well-calibrated and never venture into exaggeration or technical exasperation, while the rhythm by P.C. on bass and Baby on drums is excellent and compact; listen to them in "Wild place," as captivating and roaring as a Mustang speeding down scorching highways!
The abrasive and edgy sounds soften to make way for the ballad "Save your tears," which William gradually turns into a wonderful vertigo supported by a splendid string arrangement.
The riffs and chorus of "Southern flight" and "Love burns" possess the most visceral southern and blues touch, cunningly spirited from another era.
The KKs are a band that could become a phenomenon. Their sound is beautiful, it won't leave your brain even with electroshock, melodic and daring as much as the Darkness drunk on Cinderella and Skid Row with the make-up of Kiss, it may not be an innovative album, but giving in to this sound is purifying and energizing, wonderfully Rock!
