LA RECENSIONE

Since 1983, when her first album was released, we have known that a new Madonna album would cause a stir; thirty years later, nothing has changed. Despite hackers and thus music piracy, feared by all artists, Madonna decided to postpone the album to March 2015 (her thirteenth studio album) but at the same time to anticipate everything with a Christmas EP with 6 tracks almost certainly included in the new album aptly named "rebel heart," her second for Interscope Records (after Mdna in 2012).

The new album is a continuation of the previous one in terms of musical choices, and many artists have collaborated, such as Diplo, Kanye West, but also Avicii and all the top producers of the moment.

Obviously, everything is based on pop, but with various nuances: a bit of R&B, a bit of dark, a bit of chillout, a bit of ambient, sometimes pop-dance. Madonna's image remains that of a daring diva: she bares her breasts and makes sexy moves even for this brand new album at her age of over fifty; but who cares, she is the true queen of the world. Whether one likes it or not.....even the first single from her new effort "living for your love," released only as an audio, was number one in 40 countries worldwide in just one day.

Among the new songs we can find: "living for your love," "bitch i am madonna," "unapologetic bitch," "devil pray," "ghosttown"; in short, if with "Mdna," Miss Ciccone showed signs of wear, with an album lacking in ideas, less futuristic than the others, and with some hiccups in producers and management of singles, Madonna is more than ready to return to the scene, including live performances since a world tour has been confirmed for 2015.

The new album has already been considered (even before its full release) as a mix of "like a prayer" and "erotica," two Madonna albums from 1989 and 1992 respectively, which, by the way, are among the fans' favorites.

Welcome back then, queen of pop, many of these years, oooppppppps sorry, these albums.
