THE REVIEW

For a couple of weeks, I had been sleeping funereal slumbers; but it is time to get back to work. Also because we have a homepage that's really "slapdash."

GenitalGrinder decides to bring back to the homepage the chaos and sonic trash that I love, and that you love so much (!!)...Open scene applause.

I will take care of the disastrous and repellent Machetazo, Spaniards from La Coruña.

They have been active for about a decade when in 2004 they released this very short EP; in 7" vinyl format.

Recovered at a fair in Milan for very few Euros, never has a purchase turned out to be so spot-on for my ailing hearing system.

Goregrind-Brutal Death of the worst kind; with a stunning and unsettling cover image.

But the music is even worse, much worse. They reopen their bloodied slaughterhouse and delight us with four ravaging performances of excessive force for a total duration that doesn't even reach seven minutes. Songs introduced by criminal speech and the chilling screams of bassist and singer Carlo Cadaver; then joins him the sodomizing guitar of one Grave Rober and the hysterical and schizophrenic drumming of Diablodopi (but where on earth did they get those names, I wonder before continuing!?!).

There's little to continue, there's little to add.

"Pietrificado," "Sin Cabeza," "Corpsegrinder" (olé!!!!) are the putrescent pieces they wrote with their own hands; an armed punch that knocks you down.

One minute left; and they use it to honor the great Americans Repulsion with "Pestilent Decay."

They bring nothing new to their disgusting musical world; may the very brief catastrophe begin...CARNE DE SEMENTERIO...

Stay away; as for me, I can't do without it anymore...TRONO DE HUESOS...

The band concluded their work in 2014; they deserve a worthy eternal rest.

Diabolos Rising 666.
