LA RECENSIONE

I wanted to review this album because I believe it deserves it. The Brazilian Lux Salutis have released their first album, "Alea Lacta Est".

This album can be defined as a death prog metal, but let's get to the songs: it starts with a scorching introduction, "After B4..." which begins techno and then transitions into metal, leading to "Revival", a great concept in the Symphony X style (I hope you understand). Right after, there's an intro of keyboards, "Pharisees Of Sadduceese" that lasts 14 minutes with amazing keyboard and guitar solos that are frightening!! Then it kicks off again with "I Am Immortal", the album's single, voted Brazilian metal track of 2006: an incredible gothic style song that reaches into general metal, with a great guitar solo and a harmonic ending. Then moves to "The Way Of Resurrection", a calmer and more relaxing track that ends up bringing us into the title-track "Alea Lacta Est", with 4 minutes of music that summarizes the entire album (style Angra, Gate XXI).

Want a piece of advice: buy the album or better yet, download it from the internet!!! It's a great album worthy of note that emphasizes that even in Brazil, power prog metal is appreciated in South America.

The track list:

1. After B4...
2. Revival
3. Pharisees Of Sadduceese
4. I Am Immortal
5. The Way Of Resurrection
6. Alea Lacta Est

Great album, true, sincere, serious. Buy it!!!
