After the good debut of "Lunapark," the Luna released this extraordinary "Bewitched" in March 1994, considered by some to be their best work.
The album, characterized by the classic dreamy and Dream pop style of leader Dean Wareham, offers us overwhelming songs like "California (all the way)," where slow verses alternate with a powerful chorus, the very soft title track, and above all that "great Jones street," which is a masterpiece of tenderness, bucolicism, and serenity, a slow song supported almost solely by Wareham's acoustic guitar.
An album to have for all fans of Dream pop and shoegaze.
