THE REVIEW

Ah, dear Lucio, how many tears have been shed over your poems... especially this one.

A piece that invites our senses to act, with great clarity.
We can listen to it, we can read the lyrics but it doesn't limit us to just that. The sense of smell is easily activated and one can smell the aroma of freshly made coffee; and touch: you can feel the warmth intensifying from the cup to the hands, to the heart.

We can caress a swallow as if it were resting between our clasped hands. It's frightened but finds refuge there.

And I, like the swallow, find refuge, albeit temporarily, in the words that compose this poem, to close my eyes with a bit of simplicity as well.

Let it wrap around you.

"For you and for friends..."
