LUCA EMME - The Care of Time

(Self-production)

Luca Emme, a pop singer-songwriter who has independently sold an impressive 15,000 copies of his previous albums on digital stores, returns with the new album THE CARE OF TIME.

And right from the first track, compared to the intro of the previous album (Unstable Equilibrium), you can sense what’s in the air. It’s the air of change brought about by the "care of time." A change that leads this multi-talented artist (singer, composer, dancer, actor) to often sound melancholic, a word that perhaps, even due to his pop and mainstream influences (see "Fame," was not previously considered by him. A word that leads him to write moving songs like “Cuore nero” (with perfect arrangements that create tension and a sense of anguish) or the single itself “Senza dimenticarmene.” There’s also a rock soul in Luca Emme, which is felt in “Questo sono io.” There’s also a pop soul (the Coldplay-like one of “L’amore non basta”). But it’s in “Assenza di gravità,” where he sings “Era meglio aspettare a tracciare strade nuove e capire in fondo chi eravamo noi” that this introspective soul comes out, giving meaning to the entire album. Pop and rock with a profound soul.
