Without beating around the bush, the second album by the artist Luca Dirisio, is not as successful as the first one. The first song “L’isola degli sfigati”, very psychedelic, (5.5) is not a worthy entry track. Then “Stufa calda” which is no better than the previous one (5.5). With the song “Piange il sole” we begin to hear the passionate and romantic Luca, which is absolutely my favorite version. “Sparirò” (rating 7.5) a song presented at the festival confirms my thesis.
The song of the non-romantic Luca that I prefer is “La vita è strana” (rating 8) a song with a rock flavor that I recommend as the second single, also because “La ricetta del campione” (rating 6) was not to my liking. Another nice song on the album is “Piantagioni di spezie” where Luca highlights his vocal skills which are by no means scarce. A piece of advice is to listen to him live where he and his band have an amazing energy and are worth the ticket price.
In short, more was expected from an artist who with his immense talent could have given the fans a better album; in short, after listening, it leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. Certainly, Luca will recover from this “unfinished” album; in short, I prefer Luca’s first album “Calma e sangue freddo” which I have worn out by listening to it so much.
A half misstep... but Luca will know how to bounce back.
