The successful compilation "Earth" by LTJ Bukem's label Good Looking Records has now reached its sixth edition. We have already discussed the first five albums on this site. But now, silence. Let's close our eyes. The journey begins. Helped by the winter landscape illustrated on the cover (and the booklet inside the box set), we immerse ourselves in the climate of the season we are about to face. We seek some warmth on the home sofa, while an instrumental intro flings open the doors to our dreamlike journey, throwing over us that blanket that's always a bit too short and leaves either our feet or torso uncovered, much like life. Sian and K-Skope are the best artists on the album, present with tracks 9 and 10. The best preamble to Vincent’s electrifying finale that closes everything. However, without realizing it, immense landscapes have passed through our minds, landscapes that every human carries within, somewhat like the backward journey of "2001: A Space Odyssey." Mountains, woods, rocks, and snow-covered expanses. Frozen lakes where we skate on the sharp blades of our imagination. We have been there, in that splendid place where we wish to be and, if possible, never alone. That place called... ...earth!
