THE REVIEW

This film is a remake of the 1981 film with the same name, which, like all Hollywood films, deviates significantly from mythological (so to speak) reality.

The film lacks much innovation neither in terms of direction, which I personally find not excellently drawn from "The Lord of the Rings", nor in terms of screenplay, where the usual Hollywood-style quips (seen and heard) and the "super cool" phrases uttered by the protagonist and/or the deity in question reign prominently.

Poor special effects (let's face it, this 3D is only there to make you pay more for the ticket and nothing else) while makeup and costumes seem to convey the idea and thrilled me

Another flaw of the film is that it takes itself too seriously and places itself on some sort of pedestal, even if this is just my impression.

I prefer not to elaborate further and say that all things considered the film is watchable but does not leave a mark... Even though women might appreciate the protagonist, very muscular and good-looking according to my girlfriend; but since I'm not a woman, I'll leave it to you to judge.
