THE REVIEW

I have championed a cause... That of promoting this greatly underrated artist. I chose to review this album because I believe it's the most traceable in stores. The poor girl can't seem to land a new record deal. Do you know why?  Because she knows how to write, knows how to sing, but her music is so tiny, fragile like her voice. Delicately clinging to the emotions of each of us. But we live in a confused world, where no one takes the right time to listen. Well, I keep searching for her voice. I need those words that taste of honey and shrubs, of cats and walks in the forest. But let's get to the album. "Everything..." is the album that should have launched her into the world. Well, in a way, it has happened, Lori, you have landed in mine. The composure of "Something's Got Me" is just the beginning of an acoustic journey that has very little rational and a lot emotional. Among delicate percussion and minimal guitar arpeggios, Lori's thin and crystalline voice tells stories of ordinary life. However, the stylistic quality of the narrative is very high. We are certainly not dealing with just any "girl with a guitar". Read the lyrics of "Fade" or "Greener", listen to the intensity of "Snow Come Down" and "Souvenir". Magical album. If you like Sophie Zelmani or Natalie Merchant, it's an absolute must-have. To start with.
