LA RECENSIONE

(I hope the beauty of this album precedes my fame as a fool, deserved by the way... I thought it was right to put these words in parentheses).

In the video of one of their songs, there are dozens of trembling and tarnished frames with landscapes of countryside, plains, and mountains, rivers as far as the eye can see... and the sound is rough but well-defined over these images as if sketching shadows here and there on those rivers, mountains, plains... as if carving a path to guide you into those meadows, those delicate notes... grass crossed by bitter tears, by a voice of polluted dew stretching over those stems of a leaden morning...

I managed to listen to four full tracks of the album and only a few snippets of the others... and all are engaging and wound you with that subdued and disdainful tone, even those that disappear after just 14 seconds and leave you with a sudden "no, you won't go further for now". The guitars are well-crafted and elegant, the bass lines are simple and clear, the drums basic in rhythm and slow, almost dragged. The voice sounds like a spoken word accompanied by an echo of scratched sounds.

An angel taking its wings...

killed in cold blood
at the onset of night
today buries tomorrow
