LA RECENSIONE

Dear lovers of Italian rock, I present to you the best album by Litfiba without Pelù, "Insidia." It's an album not excellent but composed of good rock and every song is complete and has its own well-defined reason. I think if I had to listen to Vasco Rossi and Ligabue from recent years, I prefer the good rock of INSIDIA!

The album starts with "Mr.Hyde" featuring mysterious sounds that slowly explode with the voice of Cabo. "Insidia" has a very catchy but somewhat trivial chorus, "La stanza dell'oro" is the most catchy, characterized by Ghigo's unique riff. "Nell'attimo" is an emotional track where Don Aiazzi's keyboard cushions the delicate side of Cabo's voice, "Invisibile" is predisposed for live performances given its liveliness, "il branco" is 100% rock with a chorus so powerful it breaks everything, "Ruggine" is an anthem to life, "Senza rete" is one of the most beautiful songs on the album, "Luce che Trema" speaks about the death penalty and describes a man burning on the electric chair, Ghigo's guitar gives the idea of a shock and Cabo's voice the anger. The album concludes with "Oceano," a song with slow rhythms and a very gentle voice that caresses us.

I conclude by saying that "INSIDIA" is the album where the sound of the true LITFIBA is found, with Ghigo in shape and Cabo's captivating voice. W LITFIBA

Litfiba's 'Insidia' showcases solid Italian rock without lead singer Pelù, featuring well-crafted songs with distinct character. The album balances catchy riffs, emotional tracks, and powerful choruses. Standout songs include 'La stanza dell'oro' and 'Luce che Trema,' which tackles heavy themes like the death penalty. Overall, 'Insidia' captures the authentic sound of Litfiba with impressive performances by Ghigo and Cabo.

This album is not only the best of Litfiba with Cabo but the best since Terremoto.

A hard and edgy album as hasn’t been heard in years, with an added touch of esotericism and mystery.
