THE REVIEW

Do not rush with this album. Just as one cannot rush to breathe.

This music requires its own time and rhythms, the rhythms of a calm, serene breath. This is music meant to be breathed. Let it enter you.
The former singer of Dead Can Dance perhaps reaches the highest point of his exploration, of the intensity of his own music... Think of something between Clannad (but less trivial), certain minimalism like Nyman (but less pretentious), Enya (but less sugary), maybe Enigma (but less vulgar), and you will get closer to this album's music, but getting closer is not enough: if you want to understand it, this music needs to be breathed.
